Shops and bakeries selling a range of locally produced goods are in abundance. Within a short drive from the cottage you can explore the picturesque towns and villages of Chipping Norton, The Slaughters, Chipping Campden and Burford. There are many attractions in the local area, including Snowshill Manor and Lavender Farm, Sudeley Castle, the Cotswold Farm Park and Batsford Arboretum. Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon is a little further afield, but well worth a visit. Please note that for one week in October and one week in May each year many of the amenities and pubs in Stow-on-the-Wold shut due to the Gypsy Horse Fair. If your chosen dates fall in either of these months, please feel free to call to discuss.
