Ground Floor

The fully fitted kitchen includes a large stove with six gas burners and three ovens, an American fridge freezer with ice maker and cold water, a separate wine fridge, a microwave and coffee machine. There is a large oak table with plenty of seating in front of an open fire. Sliding doors lead out to the main terrace. The heart of any home, this is the perfect space for cooking and entertaining.

A snug area just off the kitchen has a corner sofa opposite an open fire and some window seats with comfy cushions. A utility room, boot room and a downstairs WC are all located off the kitchen.

The Living Room is a homely room down a few steps from the living area. There is an open fire, a pair of sofas, arm chair and chaise longue. There is a television in this room with full Sky and a Wii with a few games.

This room leads through to the Study where there is a desk should you want to check your emails or do a little work. There is also a wood burning stove. French doors leading to the terrace area.

First Floor

The Master Bedroom is a spacious room located on the first floor. There is a king size bed, two bedside tables, a mirrored dressing table and a decorative fire place. A large television linked to Sky is hidden in the fitted wardrobes.

Sliding doors lead to the en-suite which has a double ended bath, shower area with large shower head, wash basin and WC.

Bedroom Two is a lovely and light bedroom overlooking the garden on the first floor with a double bed. There is a pretty fireplace and an iPod docking station.

The bathroom for this bedroom is just along the corridor. There is a double ended bath and a separate shower cubicle, wc and sink and shaver socket.

Bedroom Three is full of character as it is in the original and oldest part of the house. The room has a pair of zip and link beds which can be made up as a super king or two twins. There is an iPod docking station.

Up a few steps is the en-suite with a shower, wash basin and WC.

Second Floor

Bedroom Four is a lovely quiet room tucked up in the eaves on the second floor accessed by an oak staircase. The room has a pair of zip and link beds which can be made up as a super king or two single beds. There is oak furniture, a large television (linked to Sky) and views are over the garden.

There is a en-suite with a shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.


The main terrace area, which is accessed from the kitchen, is a truly fantastic space for entertaining. There is a seating area with rattan furniture and loungers in front of an outside gas fire as well as a bar area with stools, two butler sinks, a large stainless drinks cooler and a gas barbecue. The umbrella has individual heaters attached to make sure you are warm enough. There is a large lawn with a goal post, a trampoline and a fold-and-roll-away table tennis table is also available. A smaller terraced area with a table and chairs is to the side of the property.

Need to Know

Wi-fi available. Due to the thick walls common with character cottages, coverage is limited to the ground floor and is best in the study and living room.

A basket of logs is provided.

Off street parking is available.

A high chair, travel cot and safety gate can be provided upon request.

Surrounding local area

Located in the delightful village of Oddington, just five minutes from Stow-on-the-Wold. A short walk from the local pub, you will find a good selection of real ales and excellent food on offer. Footpaths run through Oddington, connecting to the Diamond Way and the Oxfordshire Way providing ample opportunities for a leisurely ramble or a more strenuous hike. Daylesford Organic Farm Shop and Spa is a short drive or a leisurely walk.

Ideally located for exploring the Cotswold attractions of Sudeley Castle; Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill; The Royal Shakespeare Company in picturesque Stratford-upon-Avon; the picturesque Slaughters; several National Trust properties; and Bourton-on-the-Water where you will Birdland, The Model Railway and the Cotswold Motor Museum.
