Layout

Ground Floor

Enter the flagstone hallway directly from the High Street with its soft quirky wall lighting, and into the elegant and spacious sitting room overlooking the High Street. The panelled bay windows have contemporary plantation shutters for privacy and maximum light and a serene Farrow & Ball colour scheme – this is a lovely place to relax.

In winter, the fine limestone fireplace will be ready made up with a fire and the period style decorative radiators provide back up heat for the summer. Furnishings are sumptuous. A television with Sky Plus and a DVD player are for your entertainment as well as an iPod docking station.

A utility room and WC through the hallway house a washer dryer and overflow fridge freezer.

A dining area with banquette seating is perfect for a relaxed supper or breakfast and leads through the old stone archway into the extended kitchen with its magnificent frameless glass on two sides looking onto the smart courtyard garden and topiary. A fabulous mix of contemporary and period architecture, this feature really does set this property apart.

There is a cosy dining room with a round table, great for chatting at dinner, french doors onto the garden, and another open fire and flagstone floor.

First Floor

Upstairs the property houses three bedrooms.

The first bedroom overlooks the garden and has an antique French double bed and built-in wardrobe.

The second bedroom also on the rear has a glass Juliet balcony and twin or double beds depending on your requirements. Sky Plus can also be received in this room.

Across the landing is the family bathroom with rain-head shower, steel bathtub with limestone surround and bespoke vanity cabinet with porcelain bowl and Perrin & Rowe taps.

The huge master bedroom suite offers total luxury and is beautifully appointed with high ceilings, and a roll top bath adjacent to a marble fireplace (working and wonderful in winter with a glass of champagne!). There is a seating area, antique furniture, a king size bed and a smart en-suite shower room with curved enclosure and limestone floor.

Outside

Very attractive smart courtyard garden and topiary, completely private to the rear of the property, quite the suntrap!
