Lemur Week in the Cotswold Wildlife Park
After the well known animated film Madagascar helped popularise the Lemurs and bring awareness to these endangered species, the Cotswolds Wildlife Park announce their first Lemur Week which will be held between 4th – 8th June to highlight their conservation projects.
With plenty of different events throughout the week in aid of the conservation projects in Madagascar, there’ll be talks from Keepers, a Lemur Trail which for a small donation you can participate in or even spell out a word by finding Lemur facts located around the Park to collect your wristband in the shop.
And if you are really creative why not enter the drawing competition which is being held by sending your drawings/paintings of Lemurs to the Park and stand the chance to win a Lemur encounter as well as family tickets to the Park.
Like to fancy dress? Ever dressed up as a Lemur? Well, there’s the chance to get to feed the Lemurs if you do. Any child (under 16) dressed as a Lemur, any day at 12 noon during Lemur Week who is at the feeding area in the Madagascar exhibit can help feed the Lemurs that day…how cool is that!
A great family day out with the chance to help save these endangered species.
