With plenty of different events throughout the week in aid of the conservation projects in Madagascar, there’ll be talks from Keepers, a Lemur Trail which for a small donation you can participate in or even spell out a word by finding Lemur facts located around the Park to collect your wristband in the shop.

And if you are really creative why not enter the drawing competition which is being held by sending your drawings/paintings of Lemurs to the Park and stand the chance to win a Lemur encounter as well as family tickets to the Park.

Like to fancy dress? Ever dressed up as a Lemur? Well, there’s the chance to get to feed the Lemurs if you do. Any child (under 16) dressed as a Lemur, any day at 12 noon during Lemur Week who is at the feeding area in the Madagascar exhibit can help feed the Lemurs that day…how cool is that!

The Duchess recently became Patron of the Queen Katherine Parr Quincentenary Festival, which is a six-month celebration of the life of Katherine.

Katherine Parr who was Henry VIII last wife, spent her final days at Sudeley Castle. She left an extraordinary legacy and is the only English Queen to be buried in a private residence.

Katherine Parr was the only woman in the 16th century to become a published author and married Sir Thomas Seymour, Lord Sudeley, just months after the death of Henry.  In 1548 she came to the castle but unfortunately died just a year later after giving birth to her only daughter.

Her Royal Highness will be shown the rare treasures which once belonged Katherine including her love letters to Thomas Seymour as well as a rare book written by the Queen herself.

The event, which is a must for all car enthusiastics, has a static display full of classic, vintage and special vehicles so you can get up close to your favourite and there is also the opportunity to watch some of the vehicles in motion as they repeat the gentle cavalcades up the hill.

Attending the event will be Sir Stirling Moss who will not only be driving some of the member’s cars but will be signing autographs at different times during the day.

This is also a great chance to also visit the Bugatti Trust.

Not only is this a great day out but it’s also the chance to donate to some great causes whilst you’re at it!

The objective is to catch the 8lb Double Gloucester Cheese, which has a one second head start, as it rolls 90 metres down the steep ( 1:2 gradient) slope.

This years’ cheese rolling will be taking place on Monday 4th June 2012, so why not go and watch as competitors slip, somersault and make their way to the bottom of the hill in pursue of the Double Gloucester – surely highly entertaining viewing!!

The event has become so popular that its even inspired a cheese rolling game for the i-phone!

Besides the 3 hour flying programme which includes some of the best military and civilian performers on the air show circuit, there is also the opportunity get up close to some of the planes as well as vintage and classic vehicles with the Aircraft and Vintage & Classic Vehicle displays.

Ground displays couldn’t be more varied – from Hawk Falconry demonstration to Ferret Racing, a Punch & Judy Show to Flight Simulators as well as packed Arena Display with Vintage Police Car and MG Car Works parades as well as from ‘General Lee’, the car from the popular TV series Dukes of Hazzard.

There will also be an assortment of children’s amusements, Trade Stalls & Crafts and a varied selection of live music – so definitely lots to do and see for everyone!
