With over 250 aircraft, the world’s biggest military airshow, The Royal International Air Tattoo, is back on 7th and 8th July, and this year celebrating HM the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with an aerial Royal Salute.
Staged at RAF Fairford, there’s both military and civilian aircraft from countries all over the world – from Helicopters to Fighter Aircraft, Aerobatic Team to Strategic Bombers. Besides the exciting flying displays from the Red Arrows, The Red Devils, Breitling Jet Team and the Saudi Hawks to name but a few there is also over two miles of entertainment on the ground with static aircraft, interactive activities and ground exhibitions.
This is a great chance for enthusiastics to meet crew and get close to the aircraft but with interactive showcase designed especially for youngsters, flight simulators, cars, a fairground and a little bit of shopping – it’s a great day out for the whole family.
And if all this wasn’t enough – under 16s go free and parking is free!!
