Besides the popular flying display from both modern and vintage airplanes, there is also a wide variety of ground displays to keep everyone entertained and making it one of the community’s largest annual charity events.
Besides the 3 hour flying programme which includes some of the best military and civilian performers on the air show circuit, there is also the opportunity get up close to some of the planes as well as vintage and classic vehicles with the Aircraft and Vintage & Classic Vehicle displays.
Ground displays couldn’t be more varied – from Hawk Falconry demonstration to Ferret Racing, a Punch & Judy Show to Flight Simulators as well as packed Arena Display with Vintage Police Car and MG Car Works parades as well as from ‘General Lee’, the car from the popular TV series Dukes of Hazzard.
There will also be an assortment of children’s amusements, Trade Stalls & Crafts and a varied selection of live music – so definitely lots to do and see for everyone!
So if you’ve got nothing planned for Sunday 6th May why not go along. Besides being a great family day out it’s all for charity.
