bout a trip to the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway for a Steam and Vintage Rally.
The GWSR has a number of resident locos including City of Truro, Foremarke Hall and Black Prince, any of which may be in steam on the day.
All the trains on the day are steam-hauled, and operate throughout the day over the 20 mile round trip running through the glorious Cotswold countryside from Toddington, through Winchcombe to Cheltenham Racecourse. This is a great day out for those who enjoy a bit of nostalgia. This top-quality event attracts a huge range of traction engines, agricultural equipment, vintage vehicles, models, crafts, ringside events – and so much more. Demonstrations include ploughing with vintage tractors and steam ploughing engines.
