Also known as Mothering Sunday (as it always falls on a Sunday), this year it falls on March 14th. Perhaps this is the year to treat your mother to a break in the Cotswolds, or maybe you’ve already booked one of the many beautiful Cotswold cottages and you’re looking to do something extra special…
The National Trust offers a range of events throughout the country including events at Chedworth Roman villa and Dyrham Park. See the National Trust website for more details.
If you’re looking for somewhere to go for a meal the restaurant at The Lower Slaughter Manor has an excellent reputation (though not best with young children) or for perhaps the Fox at Oddington or the Champignon Sauvage in Cheltenham, Colleys in Lechlade or for something a little different try The Spice Lodge in Cheltenham. Whichever you choose you’re sure to have an enjoyable break in the Cotswolds.
We have the following proeprties available for Mothers Day:
- Montpellier Villa in Cheltenham (Sleeps 10)
- South Mount, near Stow on the Wold (Sleeps 8 and welcomes dogs)
- 2 Manor Farm Cottages, near Stow on the Wold (Sleeps 4)
