Cheltenham Music Festival Tickets Now on Sale

April 24, 2009

Tickets for the 65th Cheltenham Music Festival are now on sale.

It is no wonder that the festival is in its 65th year when it caters for such a culturally diverse audience.  Between 3rd and 18th July you will be able to enjoy a fully staged production of Mozart’s first opera, a major exhibition of comic-artist Gerard Hoffnung 50 years after his death, Zadok the Priest with 16 baroque trumpets and much, much more.

It is not all back to back concerts either.  Events will be put on for children and there will be a brilliant mix of films, talks and performances, including a discussion by Robert Winston on composer’s mental health.  And don’t forget the ‘Fiesta in the Park’ held on the first Saturday afternoon, 4th July which involves a huge range of music from around the world as well as food stalls, face painting, circus performers and DJ workshops – great for the whole family.

To find out more about the artists performing at this year’s Cheltenham Music Festival visit their website.
