The free music festival held in the main city park on 21st July will have a variety of bands playing throughout the day and plenty more to keep you busy.
No festival is a festival without its beer tent and plenty to eat and drink, stalls and funfair and even an urban beach – let’s hope the weather improves! And with a carnival workshop and children’s characters there will be plenty of entertainment.
On the main stage and headlining the event will be Ska and 2 Tone legends The Beat from Birmingham who will be celebrating 30 years since they debuted with their first ever album as well as a variety of music from Rock to R&B, Indie to Electro and with the second stage dedicated to the region’s finest young bands and DJs, there’s music for everyone.
