Top Cottage

Top Cottage is a beautiful, well presented property dating back to the 1800s.  Originally 4 workmans' cottages this property has been sympathetically restored to provide a high standard of accommodation.  Antique furniture and tasteful period art throughout complement the original inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, window seats and flagstone flooring. 
The main house can sleep up to five people, with the annex in the garden providing privacy and space for another two people. 

Ground Floor:
Entrance into a large hall with a cloakroom.

Kitchen / Dining Room is fully fitted with an Aga, 4 ring hob and hot plate, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer / dryer.  There is a kitchen table with seating for six.  An additional chair is available for those wishing to eat together. 
Living Room has two large sofas in front of an inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove and a bread oven from days gone by.  There is a separate reading area with two armchairs.  An LCD TV with Freeview and a DVD Player are also available. 

1st Floor:
Master Bedroom has a double bed, chest of drawers, digital radio and a window seat looking out over the garden.  The En-suite has a bath with a hand held shower attachment, washbasin and WC.  This en-suite bathroom leads to a dressing room with wardrobes, a heated towel rail and a flight of stairs leading to the 3rd Bedroom with a single bed.  It is important to note, that the only access to this single bedroom is through the master bedroom.
2nd Bedroom has a double bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and comfortable chair. 
Bathroom has a double shower, washbasin and WC.

The Annex provides accommodation of an equally high standard for a further two people.  The open plan Living Area has a sofa, wood burning stove, TV with blueray player and surround sound and a dining table and two chairs.  The Kitchen is fully fitted with an oven and electric hob, fridge and freezer, microwave and washing machine.  There is a Double Bedroom and a separate Bathroom with shower, wash basin and WC. 

Outside is a terrace overlooking the lovely Cotswold garden. 
 

Top Cottage is strictly a non smoking and no pets establishment.

Off street parking is available for three cars.

Wireless broadband available.

A welcome basket of logs provided.  More logs available locally.

A high chair, travel cot and stair gate available upon request.

Located in the delightful village of Oddington, just 5 minutes from Stow on the Wold.  A short walk from the local pub, you will find a good selection of real ales and excellent food on offer.  Footpaths run through Oddington, connecting to the Diamond Way and the Oxfordshire Way providing ample opportunities for a leisurely ramble or a more strenuous hike.  Daylesford Organic Farm Shop and Restaurant is a 5 minute drive from the cottage.

Ideally located for exploring the Cotswold attractions of Sudeley Castle; Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill; The Royal Shakespeare Company in picturesque Stratford Upon Avon; the picturesque Slaughters; several National Trust properties; and Bourton on the Water where you will Birdland, The Model Railway and the Cotswold Motor Museum.
