Spinners Cottage

Spinners Cottage is a lovely stone built, cosy cottage located just moments from the centre of the thriving small market town of Stow on the Wold.  Characterful with exposed walls, window seats and beams, this quaint cottage has been tastefully decorated to create a welcoming home.  A perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds - your four legged friend is welcome too!

Downstairs:

Entrance into a hallway – an excellent space for those muddy boots and shoes.  

The Living Room includes two comfortable double sofas to relax in after a day out exploring.  Ther ia also a TV with Freesat and DVD; and DAB radio with iPod docking station.

The fully fitted Kitchen has a double oven, vitroceramic hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a washer / dryer. A dining table can seat four comfortably.   

Upstairs:

The Master Bedroom has a 5ft double bed with two bedside tables with lamps, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.  The exposed walls and beams add character to this lovely, light and airy room.

Bedroom Two is a cosy room which retains a sense of character.  It has two single beds (which can be joined to make a 5ft double bed) with a bedside table and chest of drawers.

The Bathroom has a corner bath, with overhead shower, washbasin and WC. 

Outside there is a small courtyard with garden furniture for two for a quiet drink ‘al fresco’ (please note Spinners Cottage is the first of three terrace properties and there is a right of way path to access the two other properties).

Off street parking is not available at Spinners Cottage, however there is free street parking available in the local area with no time restrictions.

Well behaved dogs are welcome.

A high chair and stair gate can be provided upon request.

Spinners Cottage is strictly a non smoking establishment. 

Spinners Cottage is just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Stow on the Wold.  Besides being an ideal base for walking and cycling enthusiasts as many pathways run through the town, Stow also offers plenty of antique shops and boutiques, art galleries, a wide selection of quaint tearooms, a fantastic choice of country pubs and excellent restaurants and delis and bakeries selling a range of locally produced goods.  A local farmers markets can be found in Stow every second Thursday of the month.

Within a short drive there’s plenty of exploring that can be done in the picturesque towns and villages of Bourton on the Water, The Slaughters, Chipping Campden and Burford.  The attractions of Snowshill Manor and Lavender Farm, Sudeley Castle, the Cotswold Farm Park and Batsford Arboretum are all within 30 minutes' drive of this cosy cottage.  

Please note that for one week in October and one week in May each year many of the amenities and pubs in Stow on the Wold shut due to the Gypsy Horse Fair.  If your chosen dates fall in either of these months, please feel free to call to discuss.
