South Mount is a lovely Cotswold Country House set in the delightful village of Churchill. This detached Cotswold stone cottage is a spacious, family home with many period features throughout including original beams, an original flagstone flooring and an inglenook fireplace with a bread oven reminding all of times gone by. All this along with stunning views across the Cotswolds in a beautiful setting, what more could you wish for!

Ground Floor:
Kitchen / Dining Area is fully fitted with an oven, gas hob, large fridge and freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is a breakfast bar and a large table with seating for eight. This room opens out onto both the breakfast patio and the large garden.

A separate Utility Room has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
1st Reception Room has two large sofas around an inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove and a bread oven from days gone by. An LCD TV with Freeview, DVD Player and Ipod Dock are also available.

2nd Reception Room has two large sofas around a table with a selection of board games provided.

1st Floor:
Master Bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, a chest of drawers, full length mirror and views across the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.

The first Bathroom has a bath, double shower, washbasin and WC.

Two Single Bedrooms each have a single bed, a wardrobe and a bedside table and lamp.

Double Bedroom, a delightful room with a beamed ceiling has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, and bedside tables and lamps and a lovely window seat.

The second Bathroom has a bath with shower head attachment, wash basin and WC.

2nd Floor:
Twin Bedroom has two single beds, a reading chair and a mirror.
Bathroom has a bath, double shower, wash basin and WC.

Outside the large garden has a table and seating for eight and a BBQ. There is also a separate breakfast patio area with a table and seating for four.

Further storage space is available in cupboards on the landing.
Crisp, white bed linen throughout. 2 hair dryers, 2 full length mirrors and a picnic set are provided.
Parking is available for 3 – 4 cars.

South Mount welcomes well behaved dogs.

Location

Located in the delightful village of Churchill, just 10 minutes from Stow on the Wold. A short walk from the local pub, you will find a good selection of real ales and excellent food on offer. Footpaths run through Churchill, connecting to the Diamond Way and the Oxfordshire Way providing ample opportunities for a leisurely ramble or a more strenuous hike. Daylesford Organic Farm Shop and Restaurant is a 5 minute drive from the cottage.

Ideally located for exploring the Cotswold attractions of Sudeley Castle; Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill; The Royal Shakespeare Company in picturesque Stratford Upon Avon; the picturesque Slaughters; several National Trust properties; and Bourton on the Water where you will find Birdland, The Model Railway and the Cotswold Motor Museum.
