Snipe Barn

Snipe Barn is simply a stunning barn conversion perfect for work, rest or play!  The open plan design, high beamed ceilings and large glass frontage create a warm and welcome setting for entertaining or relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquility this wonderful haven provides.

Internally, Snipe Barn has been finished to a high standard throughout and includes all the mod-cons you would wish for in a holiday home.  The secluded courtyard and covered barbecue outside are enclosed by a Cotswold Stone wall making a safe environment for children.  Beyond this wall several acres of private land can be enjoyed within the Chimney Nature Reserve.

The Living Room is a large room with three sofas (one of which is a sofa bed), two chairs and a massive bean bag around the fireplace with wood burning stove.  There is also a TV with Freeview and DVD player.  

The open-plan Kitchen / Diner could be considered the hub of the property with its large table and seating for all.  The fully fitted Kitchen includes a cooker, electric hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, wine cooler and beautiful granite worktops.  A separate Utility Room has a washing machine and tumble dryer.  

Cloakroom with washbasin and WC. 

Bedroom One / Family bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and an En-suite Bathroom with bath and overhead shower, washbasin and WC.

Bedroom Two has a double bed, chest of drawers and an En-suite Bathroom with bath and overhead shower, washbasin and WC.  This lovely, light room has doors opening out onto the courtyard.  

Bedroom Three has a double bed, chest of drawers and hanging space available.

Bedroom Four has two single beds and a chest of drawers. 

The Family Bathroom has a bath, separate shower, wasbasin and WC.

Whether you’re looking for a corporate retreat, family get together or a tranquil setting for a group of friends this wonderful barn conversion offers excellent accommodation for up to 11 people.  Combined with Owl Barn it can accommodate groups of up to 23. 

Wireless internet is available throughout the whole property.  A travel cot and high chair are available upon request.

Well behaved dogs are considered.

Set within the Chimney nature reserve in the beautiful Oxfordshire Cotswolds Snipe Barn is surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery and wildlife.  A walk along the nearby River Thames will take you to the popular and award winning Trout Inn.

With London only 70 miles away and located between Cheltenham and Oxford you won’t have to travel far to get to this tranquil haven, but once you’re here it will seem that you are a million miles from the rat race.  With your batteries recharged there are many places to go and attractions to see.  The quaint Cotswold stone town of Burford, beautiful Bampton, and the extensive Cotswold Water Park all being close by.  Activities such as canoeing, horse riding, golf, water skiing, wind surfing and many more make sure that there is something for everyone.
