Posting House Barn

Posting House Barn is a beautiful 17th century, three storey cottage in the heart of Stow on the Wold.  It has been lovingly restored, retaining character features of exposed walls and oak beams, to provide a home away from home just minutes from all the amenities Stow has to offer. 

Ground Floor:
Entrance into the Kitchen / Diner with underfloor heating.  Fully fitted with a Range cooker and gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer / dryer and microwave.  The dining area has a table with seating for 6, an LCD TV with DVD player and Freeview and an Ipod dock. 
French doors lead onto the patio area and cottage garden where there is outdoor seating for all and a BBQ. 
Double Bedroom with a double bed, chest of drawers and reading chair.  Hanging space is available on the back of the door.
Downstairs WC and a washbasin.

1st Floor:
The Living Room is a cosy room with a sofa (it is a sofa bed, providing flexible sleeping arrangements, however please note a maximum of 6 people can be accommodated in the house) and rocking chairs in front of an LCD TV with Freeview and a DVD player.
2nd Bedroom with zip and link beds making the room either a double or a twin bedroom.  The room also has a chest of drawers and a reading chair.  Hanging space is available on the back of the door.
Family Bathroom has a bath, separate shower, wash basin and WC. 

The 2nd Floor opens out into the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom.  This impressive room has oak beams and a high ceiling, a king size double bed, chaise longue, chest of drawers and a full length mirror.  The En-suite Bathroom has a shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and a WC. 

Wifi is available throughout the property.
Off street parking is available for one car in the garage.
A high chair, travel cot and stair gate can be provided upon request.

This property is strictly non smoking and pets are not permitted.
 

Posting House Barn is located just 2 minutes from the main square in Stow-on-the-Wold where you will find wonderful antique shops and boutiques, art galleries, a selection of quaint tearooms and a fantastic choice of country pubs and excellent restaurants.  Shops and bakeries selling a range of locally produced goods are in abundance.
 
Within a short drive from the cottage you can explore the picturesque towns and villages of Chipping Norton, The Slaughters, Chipping Campden and Burford.  There are many attractions in the local area, including Snowshill Manor and Lavender Farm, Sudeley Castle, the Cotswold Farm Park and Batsford Arboretum.  Shakespeare’s Stratford-Upon-Avon  is a little further afield, but well worth a visit.
