Pear Tree Cottage is a characterful Cotswold cottage with exposed walls and beams located just moments from the market square in Stow on the Wold.  This three bedroom, three bathroom property provides a welcoming and spacious home.  Off street parking for three cars is an added benefit in this sought after area.

Downstairs:

Entrance into a hallway.

Living Room has two large, comfortable sofas to relax in front of the 42” flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD player.  Please note that the wood burner is decorative and not operational.

The large fully fitted Kitchen has an electric double oven and hob, large fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a washing machine. There is a farmhouse style kitchen table with four chairs.  

The kitchen leads into the light and airy Dining Room where there is a large table and seating for six.  The feature sky light gives this room plenty of natural light.  

Access to the courtyard through the French doors.    

First Floor:

Bedroom Two has a 4’6 double bed, bedside tables with lamps and a wardrobe.  The En-suite Bathroom has a walk-in shower, washbasin and WC.  

Bedroom Three has two single beds, bedside table each with lamps and a hanging rail.  

The Bathroom has a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, washbasin and WC. 

Second Floor:

The Master suite covers the whole of the top floor.  The Master Bedroom with views across the Cotswold Hills has a 5’ King Size bed, bedside tables with lamps and a wardrobe with hanging space and shelving.  

The Bathroom has a bath with handheld shower attachment, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.

There is a small seating area with comfortable seating for three and a dressing table.  A great place to watch the world go by.

Outside there is a small courtyard with garden furniture for six.  The courtyard is enclosed by trellising. There is access to the parking for three cars through a side gate.  

Pear Tree Cottage is literally a stone’s throw away from the Market Square in Stow on the Wold.  Undoubtedly it is ideal for enjoying the antique shops, boutiques, art galleries, wide selection of quaint tearooms, fantastic choice of country pubs and excellent restaurants, delis and bakeries selling a range of locally produced goods.  The local farmers markets can be found in Stow every second Thursday of the month.

Plenty of exploring to be done in the picturesque towns and villages of Bourton on the Water, The Slaughters, Chipping Campden and Burford which are a short drive away.  Attractions such as Snowshill Manor and Lavender Farm, Sudeley Castle, the Cotswold Farm Park and Batsford Arboretum are all within 30 minutes’ drive.  
 

Please note that for one week in October and one week in May each year many of the amenities and pubs in Stow on the Wold shut due to the Gypsy Horse Fair.  If your chosen dates fall in either of these months, please feel free to call to discuss.
