Little Cottage is located just off the main Fosse Way running through the picturesque North Cotswold town of Moreton-in-Marsh. A choice of good restaurants, country pubs and quaint tearooms are all within walking distance from the cottage. Moreton is well served for local amenities including a supermarket, local shops, take aways and a fish and chip shop. Every Tuesday there is a farmers market, selling a fantastic array of local produce. With a direct train taking 90 minutes from Paddington to Moreton, you don’t even need to bring a car.
Moreton is an excellent base for garden lovers. Batsford Arboretum and Sezincote, with its mixture of Indian and British style are in Moreton, whilst the National Trust gardens at Snowshill Manor and Hidcote Manor are a little further afield. If you are looking for something a little more active, you will find the Cotswold Paintballing Centre on the way to Bourton-on-the-Hill. The market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, known for its antique shops, Broadway with its art galleries and Shakespeare’s Stratford-Upon-Avon are all within a 30 minute drive from Moreton.
