At the foot of Cleeve Hill, the ancient village of Prestbury is the setting of Leckhampton Cottage. With beautiful countryside views, this ‘upside down’ cottage has been lovingly converted from a former 19th century farm building to retain its original charm including exposed beams and arched windows. A short walk into the pretty rural village of Prestbury, Leckhampton Cottage offers a relaxing base to explore the surrounding Cotswolds.
Downstairs:
The Master Bedroom is a pretty room with a 4’6” air sprung double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The Twin Bedroom has two single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The Bathroom has a bath with overhead power shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Upstairs:
The staircase enters into the Living Room. This is a beautifully light room with views across to the surrounding hillside. There is a two seater sofa, two armchairs and a TV with Freeview and a DVD player.
The fully fitted Kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer box, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. Dining table and seating for four.
Outside patio with furniture provides a lovely area to enjoy the afternoon sun.

Location
Located in the pretty village of Prestbury, Leckhampton Cottage is within walking distance of a choice of pubs and the village shop. It provides an ideal base to explore the rolling hills and picturesque honey-coloured Cotswold stone villages of Winchcombe, Broadway and Bourton-on-the-Water.
With the Cheltenham Racecourse less than 1 mile away, you are not far from a great day at one of the many fixtures, including the Gold Cup at the National Hunt Festival. And what better way to round off an enjoyable day at the races than venturing into Regency Cheltenham with its excellent choice of restaurants and bars. Cheltenham is also home to the popular Jazz Festival (April), Science Festival (June) and the Festival of Literature (October) as well as superb architecture, galleies, museums and a selection of boutiques and high street stores.
Within a short drive from the cottage you will find Sudeley Castle, the previous home of King Henry VIII’s wife Queen Katherine Parr; Snowshill Manor and Lavender Garden; Cotswold Farm Park; The Natonal Trust Garden of Hidcote; the Model Railway and Birdland. Also an easy drive to Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, Bath Spa and historic Oxford.
