Accommodation
This beautiful Grade II Cotswold stone cottage is set in the grounds of a 16th century watermill. As part of the original mill building, Isis Cottage has retained some of its original features. Its own idyllic riverside garden includes a gravel patio with a seating area and BBQ, lawn and adjacent meadow. It overlooks the River Thames and the surrounding countryside, and has enough space for the children to run around as well as an area to sit, dine and watch the sun set in the evening.
Downstairs: The beamed Living / Dining Room has a sofa and an armchair in front of a candle filled inglenook fireplace. Please note that there are to be no open fires. There is also a table and seating for four, a TV and DVD player, CD player, a small selection of CDs, books, games and views over the beautiful Cotswold countryside. A DVD library is also available on request.
Upstairs: Bedroom One has a large wrought iron double bed, an antique wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and a chest of drawers.
A Wifi internet connection is available throughout Isis Cottage.

Isis Cottage is located off a quiet lane, providing peace and tranquility in a secluded setting. It has been awarded the special Walkers Welcome grading from Visit Britain providing the perfect setting to explore the many country walks that can be found within a short distance, including the Thames Path just the other side of the river. Excellent food and traditional real ales are served at the Bakers Arms in Somerford Keynes and The Wild Duck at Ewen along the Thames Path. Located within the Cotswold Water Park with its Sites of Special Scientific Interest, the cottage provides an ideal location for wildlife enthusiasts. Bird watching opportunities are abundant, and for the more active you can also water ski, horse ride, sail, golf and kayak.
The Roman town of Cirencester is only a 10 minute drive. Local produce can be bought here from the Charter Market every Monday and Friday and the Farmer’s Market twice a month on a Saturday. Royal Tetbury with its wealth of antique shops is a little further. Westonbirt Arboretum and the family home of the Prince of Wales, Highgrove can be found close by. Costs
