High Bank

High Bank is a newly refurbished Grade II cottage and barn conversion with plenty of original features such as beams, original floors and even a feeding trough. It has a wonderful large country garden at the rear to relax in after a busy day out exploring.   

Downstairs:

Entrance into a generous hallway. Access to the rear of the property.

The Living Room has a two seater sofa, a three seater sofa and an armchair to relax in. There is a TV with Freeview and DVD player.  Plenty of books throughout the whole house to while away a pleasant afternoon.  Please note that the fireplace is decorative only. 

The large fully fitted Kitchen has a range cooker with 5 rings (gas) and a double oven (electric), dishwasher, large fridge, and freezer with ice maker. There is a farmhouse style kitchen table with six chairs.  Access to the Utility Room, which stores the washing machine and with a practical door out into the garden, as well as to a downstairs Shower Room with shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. 

The Utility Room leads on to the Summer Room, which has a double sofa bed  (at an additional charge of £80) and French doors leading out into the garden.  Beyond the summer room is a charming Double Bedroom with 4’6 bed which has original flooring, a wooden feature wall as well as an original wooden feeding trough. 

First Floor:

Master Bedroom has a 4’6 double bed, bedside tables with lamps, a large chest of drawers and a couple of chairs.  The En-suite Bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, washbasin, heated towel rail and WC.  

Twin Bedroom has two single beds, bedside table each with lamps, large chest of drawers, a hanging rail and an En-suite with a shower, heated towel rail, washbasin and WC. 

The property boasts of a large private Garden at the rear with plenty of lawn and flower beds as well as a graveled patio area with table, chairs x 6 and a parasol.

A high chair, travel cot and stair gate can be provided upon request.

High Bank is located on the high street of the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Hill and within walking distance of a local pub which offers award winning pub food.  With views of the rolling hills it is just two miles west of Moreton-in-Marsh, one of the principal market towns in the Cotswolds with a market still held every Tuesday and which has a choice of restaurants, gift boutiques, delis, takeaways and a couple of small supermarkets.

With plenty of attractive villages within a short drive, Stow on the Wold, is about a 10 minute drive with its art galleries and antique shops whilst Winchcombe with the well-known Sudeley Castle is about 15 minutes away.  Nearby you will find Batsford Arboretum, the Cotswold Falconry Centre and the Cotswold Quad and outdoor activity Centre.
