Devon House Cottage is a delightful, modern cottage located close to the centre of the popular Cotswold town of Stow-on-the-Wold.  Completed in 2005, Devon House Cottage is a new property which has been furnished to a high standard with a warm and homely feel.  The table and outdoor seating in the south facing garden provides an area to enjoy an evening meal or a glass of wine on a warm summer’s evening.

 

Downstairs:

Fully fitted Kitchen / Diner with cooker, electric hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave and a table with seating for four.

The Living Room includes two two seater sofas in front of a decorative fireplace and a TV.  The rug on the wooden floor gives a homely feel to a modern property.

The Cloakroom has a WC and washbasin.

 

Upstairs:
Bedroom One has a 4’6” double bed, chest of drawers, walk in wardrobe, two bedside tables with lamps.  The en-suite bathroom has a shower, wash basin and WC.

Bedroom Two has a 4’6” double bed, wardrobe and bedside table with lamp.

The Bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, washbasin and WC.

Devon House Cottage is located just a short walk from the centre of the delightful market town of Stow-on-the-Wold.  A fine selection of antique shops, art galleries, gift shops and traditional country pubs can be found here.  Standing over 700ft high Stow-on-the-Wold is surrounded by the beautiful Cotswold countryside, making it an excellent base for walkers.

 

There are many attractions in the local area including the National Trust property of Snowshill Manor, Batsford Arboretum and Falconry Centre, and the Cotswold Paintballing Company.  The area is not short of places to occupy the children either with the Cotswold Farm Park, Birdland and the Maze in Bourton-on-the-Water all within close proximity.  The well known Cotswold towns and villages of Moreton-in-Marsh, the Slaughters, Burford and Chipping Campden, with their honey coloured Cotswold Stone buildings for all to see, are also close by.
