Coniston House is within easy walking distance of the town square where a selection of shops, pubs & restaurants etc awaits. The window seats and original beams all add to the character of this charming cottage.
Ground Floor:
Entrance via a porch into the Living Room with a three seater leather sofa and two easy chairs. Character features include a window seat where you can watch the world go by and original beams. Also a flat screen internet TV with Freeview, occasional tables and lamps. Please note that the fireplace is ornamental and cannot be used. Double French patio doors lead to the courtyard.
Dining Room has an oak table with seating for 6-8, dresser cabinet and iPod speakers.
The Kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine. The back door leads from the kitchen into the courtyard and on to the garden.
1st Floor
Master Bedroom has a 6’ brass double bed, bedside tables with lamps, storage console and window seat.
Bedroom Two has a 5’ oak double bed, bedside tables with lamps and a chest of drawers.
Main Bathroom has a claw foot bath with shower attachment, jack and jill sinks, heated towel rail and WC.
2nd Floor
Bedroom Three has two single beds, a bedside cabinet with lamp and a chest of drawers.
A separate WC and washbasin is located across the landing.
Den / Second Living Room has two single sofa chairs (an additional charge applies for use as additional sleeping arrangements), bean bags, a walk in wardrobe, a 46" flat screen internet enabled TV with BT vision and PS3 player.
En-suite Bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
Outside there is a lawned garden and a courtyard area. The table and seating for 6 provide an ideal area for al fresco dining.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
One well behaved dog welcome.
A high chair and travel cot can be provided upon request.
A hairdryer is provided in each bedroom.

Coniston House is located very centrally in Stow-on-the-Wold where you will find wonderful antique shops and boutiques, art galleries, a selection of quaint tearooms and a fantastic choice of country pubs and excellent restaurants. Stow-on-the Wold is an excellent base for walkers, with many paths running from the town itself.
Within a short drive from the cottage you can explore the picturesque towns and villages of The Slaughters, Chipping Campden, Broadway and Burford. There are many attractions in the local area, including Snowshill Manor and Lavender Farm, Sudeley Castle, the Cotswold Farm Park and Batsford Arboretum. Shakespeare’s Stratford-Upon-Avon and the historic Oxford are a little further afield, but well worth a visit.
Please note that for one week in October and one week in May each year many of the amenities and pubs in Stow-on-the Wold shut due to the Gypsy Horse Fair. If your chosen dates fall in either of these months, please feel free to call to discuss.
